T is for Tags - There's no time like the present

Happy New Year!

Our first project of this year is this stunning page by Elaine Rolf.
Elaine designs for Scrap 365 magazine, Paper Arts Shop and her blog is The Distressed Scrapper.

The challenge is to create a layout using tags.

My version is as follows:
I used a sheet of bazzil for the base and stamped around the edge with Craftwork cards stamps and Tim Holts distress ink - Shabby Shutters.

The text says Whats in the box as everyone in the photos was opening their presents.
I added 2 skeleton clock faces cut with a Tim Holtz die and lots of tags of various sizes.
I stamped the title onto the tags too, it say's There's no time like the present.

The hands were added to the clocks with gold brads.
The tags were all inked and strung with garden twine.

The photos were printed at random sizes and mounted onto the patterened paper and "scattered" across the page. Apologies for the addition of the white trees and daisy, I am unable to show the photos of these children)

This is our sketch...

And Elaine's beautiful original.

Pop over to Scrapology for details of the challenge and prize on offer.

Bon chance :)
