The Beldi Hotel and Country Club - Marrakech

My lovely friend Lynn recently designed a page for the Papermaze crop using Kaisercraft's Ubud Dreams. You can see the original here.
This is my version.

I was lucky to visit Marrakech on a work trip recently in March and this is one of the properties we were shown around and had lunch at - The Beldi Hotel and Country Club.

I used the new Tropical Plumeria flowers from Heartfelt Creations along with a swirl and frond cut with Kaisercraft dies.

The owner has an eclectic collection of things - old doors being one hence the addition above.
The tiles reminded me of the resort.

Here are some photos I took of the resort - it's a stunning location and would be a fabulous holiday destination. As Marrakech is only a short flight from London it's also perfect for a short break and you are never far from the busy Medina and souks.

Thanks for taking a look

Pure White...............

More framed roses made for friends. This first one is for Charlotte - Pure Zen Therapies - to hang in her  treatment room - hence the pure white.

It's hard to photograph with the glass in - sorry! Will try to do so before it's sealed next time.

Here are some close ups of the contents - little bit of sparkle and some shimmer.

Another to follow

Hope you like it Charlotte!

May the force...........

For Abi's birthday this year I was asked to make a Star Wars themed card.
Looking for images I found these Lego style characters which were perfect as she loved Lego too!

The card is 8x8" layered with cardstock which I've had in my cupboard for ages, plus a little silver glitter card.
Images were printed out, re-sized and coloured with Copics then raised with 3d foam pads.
Letters and numbers were cut with a Crafter's Companion set.

Happy Birthday Abi - hope you had a lovely day.

Roses are pink.....

Well, this one is!

This is my last project for the Inspirers and I was lucky to be able to play this month with Sara's Shabby Chic range - I think it's got to be my favourite so far...

I'm not sure what this style of card is called but they are cool to make.

The centre panel is a 6x6" square of Centura Pearl card which I die cut on opposite edges with the fabulous shaped die - Antique Edge
It's then fastened to the centre of another piece of  Centura Pearl 6 x 11 1/2" scored at 3 and 1 " from each edge, then die cut too.

The patterned paper is from the 12x12" pad, cut into sections and cut with the scalloped edge of the die to fit the panels.

I added the Aged Rose cut twice, plus the filigree flourish and some Butterflies.

Did you get this collection? Love to see what you've made with it.
