A-Z Photo Challenge - B is for..................

Bowling!

I had been racking my brains trying to think of a suitable subject for B and then realised that I was going bowling with my team at work and colleagues from Leicester office.
Perfect opportunity!

I took some different photos of the bowling balls which I was quite pleased with, although its quite hard when they are constantly in use.

As you end up with just peoples behinds at these events I created the following collage with a trial piece of software (as watermarked below). Some taken by me and some by the rest of the crew passing my camera around. Some had to be removed though lol!

Apologies, in advance, to anyone this may offend.

Last Minute Card

Lianne's friend Chloe is 21 today (?) and Lianne asked me to make her a card - at the last minute as always lol!

I used 2 x 8x8" CWC cards stuck together and random papers and embellishments from my stash.
The front page has a cocktail glass cut from the Life's a Beach Cricut cartridge, the flowers punched with my retro flower.

The inside spread features photos from her Ibiza holiday last year and palm trees cut from the same cartridge. The papers are DeLovely as is the text element.

Also a party word with cocktail.
Lianne had fun playing with my Cricut to cut these.

The other double side spread is as follows with more punched flowers and some gems.

Not sure about the photo lol!

They are off out tonight to celebrate so, have fun and Happy Birthday Chloe.

Floral Cards & Mad George

I made a couple of cards with Craftwork Cards products as follows:

This one is a 6x6 card, basically black papers, simply scallops, retro dotty daisies, butterfly greetings and card candy.

I added a small piece of silver wire for antennae.

This one used a scalloped 6x6 card, the same daisies and butterflies as before.
The papers are Red Romance.

The flower centres are punched with a woodware small circle and edged with Black Diamond stickles which I also used to make antennae.

All products are available from Cardinal Colours.

Also, I just wanted to share this photo of George - who really is mad :) - this was the tissue box he used to get inside of. Now as you can see, he is too big, so, decided he would sleep on it instead.

It made me smile.

Lois' 1st Birthday Keepsake Card.

I recently made a card for Kerry at work which I blogged as "No Pink" based on a keepsake birthday card for her 1 year old niece.
Claire asked me to make one for her niece Lois for January so, here it is.
Claire's request was pink, girlie and bling as always.

I used two 8x8 card from CWC and papers from Cardinal Colours, Prima Marketing - So Cute.

I used my Cricut Zooballoo for the words and Create-a-Critter for the animals.

First inside spread and details below of the Monkeys and Hedgehogs.

The back cover ready for a photo of the birthday girl on the day.
You can also see the tag which fits inside the card with a place for keepsakes.

The second inside spread with verse.

I cut out and decoupaged the animals heads as below.

A close up of the frog on the front wearing a crown (glittered with stickles of course!)

Happy Birthday Lois, hope you like your card :)
