Recycled Challenge - Passion for Promarkers

This weeks challenge on the Passion for Promarkers site, see here, was to recycle things that are not usually used for crafting.
I wanted to make a card for my friend Lynn's son who has gone off to uni and thought he would appreciate this!
I used scraps from my stash of papers to create the background and added a strip of paint colour samples for a splash of colour. The image is a Bella which I coloured with my promarkers of course.
It was then mounted onto a piece of cardboard packaging which I "stripped" one edge of for definition.

Below is a close-up of the corrugated cardboard with a few recycled buttons from my box.

Below is the Dulux paint sampler.

Hope he likes it.
