This was the last class I did at the Cardinal Colours retreat with Laura.
It using the Cosmo Cricket DeLovely range DeLuxe and Delectable papers and Elements, follow the link above to find them.
The object of this class was to journal on a photograph with a Sharpie.
I was stunned when Laura opened with "cut your 12x12 papers into random strips"
Aaaaagh - I thought - but did it. We then used punches to edge the papers and cut shaped strips.
They were then randomly placed on the bazzil alligned to the left and cut at different widths to create the effect above. After the photo had been placed off-cuts were added over the top.
I had placed the buttons along the bottom of the photo while deciding where to place them when Lynn laughed and asked if my camel was on wheels! :)
The title was foam letter which I added a dot-dash pattern to.
The black border edges were created with the sharpie.
Another idea I would not have tried had I not taken this class - Thanks to Laura and also to Jill for organising such fun classes.

Ah, the famous wheeled camel! It was a great class, love your version.
Great to see all the variations in the class.
I am in the process of writing my blog entry with this layout too.
Beautiful page, like the added buttons :)
