November challenge features a stunning page by Michelle Logan found recently on Pinterest.
I used a 12x12 greyboard as the base, coated with gesso.
Gelato's were swept around in a ring then I ran a damp paintbrush over to blend them.
I used pink, purple (2 shades) lime and blue.
I turned the sketch on it's side as my photograph was landscape and added a prima vine underneath.
I used mountboard for my swirls, painted with Kaisercraft pink acrylic paint then dabbed with flitter glue and gilding flakes - a very messy workshop today!
I added a blossom at the join.
I cut the tag with a new Sizzix die which also cut the frame above.
I added a brad either side then surrounded the aperture with tiny 2mm gems.
I added lots of square and 3mm gems to the colour swirl too.
The title was cut with a Sizzix Alphabet called cat'n'mouse, then lined with a black pen.
The tag come with a strengthening ring with I added the tied with some raffia.
Michelle's beautiful original and our sketch are below......
