I have had these pictures a while now, Megan will be 4 this year.
Another first too, I bought these papers from Sugar and Spice on the way to our retreat on the Friday and made this layout the same evening!
The papers are designed by Karola Witczak, who we have scraplifted on Scrapology this month, are called The Bright Side of Life for The ScrapCake.
The double page is based on a page map, singles are shown below.
I created a "patchwork" of the papers the joined the top seam with seam binding which I ruffled onto double sided tape. I made a ribbon rose with the same seam binding and punched some leaves with a new MS punch I bought at Pinacle Crafts the same day.
The journallinb circle is a stamp borrowed from Lynn who also gave me the printed butterflies below which I cut and stickled. Thanks Lynn. I embellished with adhesive pearls.
The second page uses 9 small photos matted onto cardstock and arranged over two strips of the patterned paper, some are on 3d foam.
I added ruched seam binding behind then some circle cut from the same set of papers and more butterflies.
Thanks for looking.
