Early Birthday Celebrations

I wont be able to join my crafty friends for our monthly crop next month so they surprised me on Saturday...

I had a lovely selection of cards and some flowers in a vase...

 

 

A raspberry ripple chocolate cake made by Lynn...

 

Lovely gifts including frames, a book, a painted wooden cat ornament (peeking out from the card photo above) and beautiful crystal cat keyring, a book called "sod calm and get mad" which I'm sure I will enjoy.

Lynn got me a cake-pop maker as below with some accessories...

 

So I had to try it out...

 

Not sure if it's a pass or fail?

 

The candi melt (Wiltons) didn't get as liquid as I expected so I ended up "pasting" it on for a rough textured finish.

 

I used the polystyrene from the box to stand them in.

Not tried them yet as left them to set - will update later :)
