Jofy Stamps again!

We had a card swap at the retreat and this was the one I made using the large JOFY bloom from Paperartsy's recent release.

Coloured with Fresco paints and Distress inks, I had to add a multitude of gems and glitter glue to the centre!

Jean's 70th

A friend asked me to make a card for a ladies 70th while I was away and these papers from Kaisercrafts Bombay Sunset seemed perfect.

It's an 8x8" card base with, yes, you've guessed - lots of fussy cut layers!
You can't really see here but the flower is very dimensional.

Hope she had a lovely day.

Just be you

This last page was based on the additional kit available to purchase using Kaiserctafts Bombay Sunset Collection.

The colours are so delicious in this set!

I also bought a couple of new dies, the scribble circle was used on this one around the photo.
More fussy cutting here lol!

Capture the Moment

This page was made using Kaisercrafts Keepsake Collection.

There are acetate layovers on the photos so its's reflecting a little in the photo.
Thanks to Lynn for the loan of the stencil - Tim Holtz I think?

This one is based on a page on the Kaisercraft blog.

When you love what you have...........

Another recent layout, this time with Kaisercraft's Golden Grove Collection.

I'm not a fan of fussy cutting but these blooms are large enough, with a lovely defined edge, that makes them easy to cut and layer.

Lovely, wonderful, amazing, beautiful

I thought I'd share a recent scrapbook page made with Kaisercraft Lilac Whisper Collection.

The design was based on the kit from the Merly Retreat but I deviated and made this.

Thanks for taking a look

Photo card for a special Dad

Another recent order was a Birthday card for my friends Dad.
She loves all things "bling" so we had to have some glitter involved.

Hope he had a lovely day.

Crafter's Inspiration issue 15

I was so excited to be asked to design some Christmas cards/projects using the Deck the Halls collection on the CD. My first feature in the Crafter's Companion magazine!

These are the projects I made - all the details can be found in the magazine.

let's celebrate - triple circle kinetic card

I've had some interest in how I made this card so have added the instructions below.

Would love to see your versions too
x

Cut an A3 sheet of Centura Pearl to 15cm wide.
Position the circle pop out using the side panel as a guide and cut.
Using the centre fold line of the die, place onto the card at 21cm and cut again, then at 34cm.
Cut an additional piece of card 15 x 9cm, place on the right hand side (last cut) trace around the inside of the circle, trim and attach to make the length.
Cut the small panel using the die cut from patterned papers (I have used Shabby Chic)
Cut two pieces 14 x 10.5cm one 14 x 8.5cm. Place onto the card, trace around the aperture and trim.
Glue these into place using Collall all purpose glue which will allow time to adjust.
Using the Circle swing die, cut 3 circles from patterned paper and place these on the front.
Cut two sentiments using Centura Pearl and two background using the circle die only. Fix these in the 1st and 3rd circles.
For the centre circle, cut a doily from the Shabby Chic collection using Centura Pearl and glue in place.
Die-cut a variety of flowers, I have used English Country Garden floral duo. Colour the centres and drag along the petals using Distress ink and shape.
Cut two flourishes from the Shabby Chic collection and trim into smaller elements.
Place the flowers onto the card and add the flourishes behind.
Finish with gems.

I can't believe my nephew was 40 at the weekend!
Where did the time go?

He's still mad on Lego (aren't we all!) so I made him this card.

And cupcakes...........

Chocolate orange

Chocolate Peanut Butter

Banana Muffins with Vanilla icing...

And bite sized Chocolate Walnut Brownies.

Happy Birthday!
