Magical jar and matching card

My latest samples for Crafter's Companion were made using the Xyron Creative Station.

It's fabulous for laying a film of adhesive to all manor of things from delicate tissue paper to buttons and gems.

Most things (apart from those with dimension) were added to these using it.

I used an old sweetie jar and added the elements all round - Tim Holtz tissue paper, Sara's Autumn Morning fence panels, lace etc.

The inside was packed with pink tissue paper wrapped with led lights.

Fun with Bloobel

Lisa at Bloobel stamps began a Progressive Challenge in January to colour this character - challenge - so I got myself in gear and used my Illustrator markers.

the sign was blank so you could choose your protest - I needed more coffee !

White Butterfly

Today one of my best friends said farewell to her Father - a very sad time!

I made her a card using an embossing folder from Sara's Signature Birthday Party collection (CC) and a Tim Holtz sizzix butterfly.

My thoughts were with you today xxx

Rose Frame - Version 2 - Inspirers

Here is another version of the Rose Frame I made for my Sister-in-law for Christmas, this one is for the Inspirers.

This one uses elements from Sara's Signature ranges - English Country Garden and Floral Delight, plus Sheena's perfect partners Rose leaf dies.

Gems have been added to the flower centres and a sprinkle or iridescent sequins to add sparkle.

Altenew Peonies

This is the second sympathy card I made, again using the Altenew stamps and coordinating ink sets.

The frame die-cut is Spellbinders again and the papers Anna Marie Designs.

I added some pearls to this one.

With sympathy..............

We've had a few bereavements lately so I made some sympathy cards - not an easy task 😪

This one was made using the Altenew Fresia stamp, coloured with Aquablend pencils.

The die is Spellbinders and the papers are Anna Marie Designs.

My Secret Santa.

I received this impressive box of loveliness from my Inspirers Secret Santa, isn't it beautiful! 

Love all the detail around the edges of the box too.

And inside?

The most exquisite cookies and peppermint creams.

Thank-you Santa - they were delicious 😊

Playing with Catitudes - Tamara - for the Inspirers.

I loved the recent Crafter's Companion Catitudes release and played with for the first time today for my latest Inspirers project,

I used the Tamara stamp with Sheena's white card, coloured with the new Spectrum Illustrator pens - wow, these are good! Colours used - AP1,2,3 - AB1,2,3 - BO1 - FS8 - IG1,2,3.

The card is 7x7" with papers from the 8x8" Catitudes pad.

A mat of black was added between with dots of white gel pen around the edge.

A scattering of sequins give a little sparkle too.

New Years Resolution Reminder - Inspirers

So, who made a New year Resolution?

A common one is to lose weight but it's hard to do, right?

Why not make a fridge magnet to help you along - I made this one for the Inspirers using Sara's Signature - Birthday Party Collection.

I cut a disc of mountboard and one of white Core'dinations which I embossed with the Scattered Dots folder.

I added some die-cut bunting from the Silver Glitter card - this is lush! then some die-cuts from the paper pack, cup-cakes and sweeties raised with Collall 3d glue gel.

To create the "ban" I cut out the Birthday wish die, trimmed out the words and added a strip behind.

I added a banner underneath which you could use to mark your progress, either how many days or pounds lost. Lots of numbers in the pad which could be added/removed by using Stick and Spray plus stars to add if you've been extra good.

And of course - a magnet on the back - great use of the bits you accidentally cut out of your magnetic sheet 😱

Secret Santa - Revealed! Spoiler Alert!

The Inspirers decided to make Secret Santa Gifts for each other this year, 

this is what I made.

I bought an A5 2017 Diary and covered the edges with holographic tape, then a layer of Black Core'dinations coated with Gilding wax. 

The next layers are papers from my stash with die cuts raised with glue gel.

The letters were then added with tacky glue.

I cut and inked several flowers from Sara's Signature Collection, layered them up and added gems and pearls to the centres. A bow, some foliage and iridescent sequins finished the project.

I hope she liked it 😀

Something new - Inspirers

My first project for the Inspirers was to try something new.

There's not a lot I haven't tried but I had some Colourista Pens and a Glitter colouring pad unused so decided to play with these.

The panel is 13cm square cut from the A4 Floral pad coloured with the pens below 😉

Check out this fab deal! 

They blend beautifully too.

And the glitter is amazing!

I finished it with a small border of black card, a ribbon/bow and Birthday Sentiment from Sara's Signature Collection.

Framed Roses for Christmas

We don't usually exchange gifts with my brother and sister-in-law but, as they were all coming to our house for Christmas Dinner to celebrate Dad's 90th Birthday! I made the following - 

I began with an IKEA frame (approx 8x8") which has a mountboard frame inside.

I backed this some papers from Anna Maria Designs and then made 9 roses using papers from Sara's Signature Collection - Little Angels.

Once secured in place with some tacky glue, I die cut and punched some foliage in white.

Lastly, some gems were placed in the centre of the roses along with some stickles on the edges, plus some iridescent sequins around the edge.

Apologies for the reflection in the glass 😒

She loved it
