Kimono range from Crafter's Companion

These were the cards I made for the recent launch of the Kimono Paper Pad from Crafter's Companion and accompanying dies.

I just loved this ginger jar shaped card. The butterflies are cut and decoupaged onto the central panel.

This one uses the peacock die and an embossing folder.
I wanted to keep them plain as the papers are too beautiful to cover up!

An acetate panel was added to this one along with the lantern dies and lots of decoupaged flowers.

The bird and cage were used here, layered up with the tiny bird inside.

Leigh-Ann went on Maternity

One of my lovely work colleagues left at the end of October to begin her maternity leave and this was the card I made from the office.

It's an 8x8" card with papers from Doodlebug.

The image is Stamping Bella - Uptown Girls - which I have coloured with Copics.

By the time this is blogged she will have had her baby!

Good Luck Leigh-Ann.

Rowan was 6!

Crazy Birds were back for this card for my great-nephew.
The card is 8x8" and the papers are from the Bo Bunny Basics range plus some Bazzill.

The letters were cut using a Bigz die and some cardboard, inked then glossed and finished with a white gel pen. Fronds are a new Tonic die recently purchased.

The image is stamped onto watercolour card which I have stencilled with Distress Inks.
The image is also coloured with Distress pens and a water brush.

Loving the new accessories too!

Some bright butterflies were added to finish the effect.

It's been a while now since his birthday but I hope he had a fabulous day!

A good cause and Chocolate Cake!

My lovely friend Jill of Cardinal Colours has been collecting craft items for a lady raising funds to get her daughter, Megan, some life changing equipment.

I had a kit from Hunkydory that I bought last year and had never used so I made some of them up for her.  It was a poppy collection and I think I bought it to make the exploding cards at the bottom.

If you have any items you could donate, please contact Jill via the link above - I am sure they would be very gratefully received!

This was at our October crop so Lynn made me an early birthday cake as I would be away for November's.
It was delicious Lynn! -Thank-you :)

Thanks for taking a look

Baby Evie

I'm back to playing catch up again as I've not blogged for a while.

A colleague at work asked me to make the following for her friends new arrival.
It's the same style as I have previously made with the addition of an elephant again as a special request.

The card is 8x8" and covered with a patchwork of Doodlebug papers.

The elephant is a Crafter's Companion stamp which I have coloured with Copics.

The Bunting was created with a Stampin' up punch and some "rub-on" letters threaded onto pink ribbon.

Welcome to the world Evie.
