Flying high.

This is a card I made for my brothers birthday in July.

The papers are Imaginisce from Crafts-u-love.

I cut an extra aircraft and decoupaged it.

Whilst playing, I also made these variations.

And this one.....

It's hard to make cards for men - no pretty embellishments on them - but I think they work.

Ampersand - September layout challenge at Scrapology

This month we chose a stunning layout by Robin Schaub who's blog can be found here.

I am back to my Elephants on Parade 2010 for photo's -

I had some kits left from a class I taught at a Cardinal Colour weekend so I used one for this page.
The papers are from My Minds Eye.

The Title is cut from a die alphabet in two colours to create a shadow and I added Chevrons to the Elephants number to highlight.

I added some punched details and flowers, plus some faux stitching.
I loved the detailing on this elephant which looks like metal washers all welded together.

A little plaque was created to sit at the top using more punches.

Please do pop over to the Scrapology Blog for more information - the challenge is open until the 5th October, so plenty of time.

Here is Robin's original layout and our sketch.

Game On Oliver!

This month the Scrapology Card Challenge is Anything Goes!
A nice easy one to ease you back into crafting after the summer holidays!

I had been asked to make a card for a colleague's son's birthday so I made this one -

The base card is an 8x8" black from CWC, papers are Bo Bunny from my stash.
The image is Mo Manning in Rubbah, called Game On! from Stamping Bella, which has been coloured with my Copics.

I used some bazzil to mat and layer and created a tag greeting.
The message is stamped but the name & age are rub-ons.

I added some Card Candi to finish.

Thank-you for taking a look - please take the time to say Hi, it's nice to know you are out there :)
