Happy Fathers Day!
This is the card I made for my Dad. Last minute as always! Typical crafter, made it at our Scrapology catch up day yesterday with one if Lynn's new stamps from Lili of the Valley.

I caught a fish....
Mmmmm, not sure why this has come out blurry :(
Another decoupage sheet from my collection made into a Father's Day card for a work colleague.
The eye is covered with glossy accents, the scales scattered with a little glitter.
His boots were crackle glazed!
Not very good photographs but I'm sure you get the idea.

Sue's 90th
My sister-in-law's Mum turns 90 this month and she asked me to make her a card.
I followed my recent trend to use large numbers on the card and created this 90 but cutting 2 layers, one in pink and one in gold mirri to edge and stiffen the papers.
The papers are from my collection.
My favourite Martha Stewart butterfly punch.
A double layered bow of seam binding with a gem....
And rub-on letters on a lable.
A liberal scattering of gems to finish.
Happy Birthday Sue, hope you had a lovely party.

Twins :)
A baby card request now for twin girls.
I used Lynn's Lili of the Valley stamps and masked them to sit together.
Created as a 6x6" easel card I cut the image with a nestability with a larger mat in pink.
As I wanted the blanket to extend from the image I cut around that first then slid the die underneath so it did not cut that bit off.
The papers are from a 6x6" pad, I think Forever Friends.
The image was coloured with my Copics.
I added a die cut behind, another of Lynn's and used the co-ordinating border for the stopper.
This had been threaded with ribbon.
The word is from Stampin' up curly sentiments (I think it's called).
Buttons and gems were added to finish along with some dotty ribbon knotted.
This is how the card looks flat.
Thanks for taking the time to look :)

Baby Emelia.
I really enjoyed making this card, another order from work.
I cut the card into a circle and added another circle to the top to create the easel.
A small circle was then cut and edged with glittery lace.
The white edged circle and strip under the elephant were cut with Sizzix dies borrowed from Lynn.
I threaded the the strip with ribbon and added a bow at one end and a button at the other.
The image is a woodware stamp, coloured with Copics, the ear was decoupaged and studded with diamante.
The inside has a circle cut with a Nestability studded with gems.
The name was stamped using a Clarity Alphabet set and mounted with foam to create the stop.
I added buttons either side too.
This is the card standing.
I hope she likes it :)

Tom's 30th
Another card for work, Lauren's friend Tom who likes "outdoorsy" activities and beer!
I used an 8x8" card again with papers from a recent bargain purchase at Crafts-u-Love.
I like the compass papers with coordinating stripes which are thermo glazed although you can't really see it here.
The 30 was cut with a template and edged with fine-liner pen and liquid pearls.
The image is a Kenny K download which was coloured with my Copics.
I stamped and cut out a compass from Stampin' Up and tied to the 3 with bakers twine then coated with glossy accents.
I hope he enjoys his day.

Champagne for Lindsay
More orders from work - I am being kept nice and busy :)
This one is an 8x8" card using papers from my collection.
The centre panel is Kaisercraft Bonjour collection.
I added some Stampin' Up pleated ribbon down the side.
Some roses and a cherry blossom were added with pins and fern leaves.
The image is a decoupage sheet from the multitude I have filed away - it's good to be using them again!
The letters and numbers are stickers which I have edged with black fine-liner.

Cherished
The lovely Anita created a class page using Prima Lyric papers and I was lucky enough to be able to take part. This is my take on the layout which also fits with our F is for Framed challenge currently on Scrapology.
I chose to use Prelude as my background page cutting out around the bird cage and word smile. The frame was cut out from Recital and added with 3d foam sliding under the freed elements.
The photograph was mounted onto Pacato and elements cut and added in, around and under the frame.
I found some lace from my stash and placed along the bottom of the photo mat.
A tiny strip of heart bunting was cut and added, you can just see it below.
The kit had some lovely pearl swirls in which I added, on in particular for the butterflies body and antennae.
And of course stickles were added liberally to finish the page.
This is Anita'a beautiful original, see details here.

Happy (Belated) Birthday to Lynn
I can now share Lynn's card I made for her as she now has it after her break away.
A 6x6" card with papers again from my vast collection - but at least I am using it!
The shapes are cut with Nestabilities and placed onto gold mirri card.
The image is a Kraftin' Kimmie which I ordered last year for her birthday but it arrived too late :(
Coloured with my favourite pens, Copics.
I added a ribbon and bow to the side along with some blooms, fern leaves and some pins.
Anita made her this lovely chocolate cake covered with Marshmallow fluff and fruit flavoured confetti.
As it was a warm day, the fluff melted and coated the cake as below.
It was extremely yummy!
Thanks Anita :)
Here's wishing Lynn a Belated Happy Birthday again :)

So Cute - F is for Framed - Scrapology June Challenge.
This months layout features the work of Maria Featon who's blog can be found here.
The technique is to create a frame around your work, this is mine:
I used a technique Tuesday template placed
centrally on the the Cherish paper and cut out to create my frame.
For the background I used the Cream
Puff bazzill and spritzed glimmer mist in Sprout lightly though the leaf
template then stuck the frame over using 3d tape.
The roses and lilies were cut from the
Remember sheet and placed to the bottom left of the page.
I mounted my photo onto the leftover
piece of this sheet using the other side and placed centrally at the bottom of
the page.
Various elements from the sticker sheet
were inked and added, the tickets were cut down so I could use both of the
shaped ends, some were raised with foam tape. The “love grows” sticker was used as my title
mounted onto the pink journalling block.
I added both of the bunting stickers
along the top under the frame edge, one flat and one raised and the birds were
placed to sit on it.
I added the Cute sticker on 3d tape and
pushed the pins through the hole.
Stickles were added to the roses and
bunting for some sparkle.
Here is Maria's original layout and our sketch as usual.
Check out the details on the Scrapology blog and view our lovely DT's pages.
