St Lucia - 2nd August LO - Scrapaholix Kit

Again managed, with a little careful planning, to get a 2nd LO from the kit.
I used my QK to cut sail boats from the foil and used the remainder to create a title plaque which I freehand embossed.

Lifestyle - Scrapaholix August 2009

My daughter, Lianne, had these photographs taken for her Modelling Portfolio in June and the colours were perfect for this LO. The technique for this month is foil so I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder with my Zip-e-Mate to create a decorative panel. The Butterfly is one of CWC's acetate ones which I also embossed. I used left over foil to create the body and added some Pearl teardrops on wire as the antennae. The title was cut with my silhouette and the letters stamped with a patterned image.

Harry Potter and the half blood prince

We went to Bluewater tonight to see the new Harry Potter movie. It was fabulous and they did a great job bringing this book to life.
Not a lot of crafting today as I spent the day doing the housework and preparing for our first Scrapaholix club night tomorrow. I have cut and prepped lots of decoupage which needs to be mounted onto cards now, so watch this space :)

Wedding Season

Today I made the following wedding cards.
I like the simplistic styling of these.
As usual my favourite 8x8 sized cards, with velum and scalloped squares from CWC.

A day's work

I had a lovely day at Jill's yesterday for a crop.

The cards above were all made with elements from CWC's Marshmallow Madness kit on small square cards (approx 5x5")

I love the way the colours work together.

The card below was created with the Richie and Suzie collection from CWC and is on an 8x8" card.
