Scrapology June Card Challenge - Thats Crafty

Our June challenge was set by Laura at Thats Crafty.
Laura stocks the amazing Sweet Pea stamps which have featured a lot on my blog recently.
The image below is Purple Woods by Ching Chou Kuik and is coloured with Copics.
The card is a 6x6" from Craftwork Cards in lime tp which I added three panels of Magnolia paper.
I ran an edge with Platinum stickles around each one.
The image is double mounted onto purple and lime bazzill as is the birthday message (also CWC) and punched with SU scallop and circle.

Below is a close up of the image, they are so beautiful to colour in.
You can't really see here but I have dotted stickles onto the trees behind.

This is the sketch we used.

Why not pop over to the Scrapology blog to see the other DT examples and take part in this challenge.
A fabulous prize will be on offer again, check back in a few days.
Dont forget to follow the blog to be in with a chance to win.

Sweet Pea Stamps - Arden

Another recent purchase were some Sweet Pea stamps from Thats Crafty which I adore!
I spent hours with Lynn on Bank Holiday Monday stamping images and took them with me last Saturday to our monthly crop to colour. I really travelled light and only too images, Copics and the bare essentials.
We all had a lovely time although Lynn was sadly missed as she was unable to come - it was a long drive without her but I blasted out some Keane, Maroon 5 and The Muse to keep me company!
Anyone seeing me must have had a laugh as I was singing at full pelt! But, I digress, this is the first of my new stamps, her name is Arden and she was designed by Nikki Burnette.
I used an 8x8 scallop CWC card and papers from the Green at Heart BG range.

I added some leaves and a paper rose to the side with a small bow.
Stickles were added to the outer edges of the circles and a corner of jewels.
Below is a close up of the image.

Brand new challenge on Scrapology......

.....for card makers!

Our first challenge has been set by Elaine of Quixotic Paperie

"Be Charming"
- incorporate charms into your card design, either as a focal point or to accent your design.

I used a 6x6 CWC card and covered the front in Memory Box papers
using a strip of a different paper at the bottom.
The image is one of the new Kraftin Kimmies called Angie.
She was coloured using Copic Ciao pens.

The Roses were made with a small and tiny retro flower punch. I embossed the backs of the petals and the centre to create dimension then added a pearlised gem to the centre.

My charm was a tea pot which came in a pack from Quixotic paperie recently, I thought it went well with the stamp :)

This is the stamp and sentiments.

All items are available from Quixotic Paperie, why not hop over and take a look.
Also, check out the challenge on Scrapology and see the other DT entries.
There will be a prize announced in the next few days!
