More Christmas for the Inspirers

My last project for 2016 for the Inspirers using the versatile Christmas Cheer cut-in die.

These are so quick and easy to do - why not start now for next Christmas?
1 card a month will give you 12 ready for next year 😉

This first one was cut into an A4 sheet folder to A5. The tree was cut into the top and I added the greeting at the bottom. I added some Navy Core'dinations behind the greeting and paper from Sara's Contemporary Christmas to the back.
A ribbon and bow plus some sequins were added to finish.

The next one I made into a stepper card using Centura Pearl.
The tree was cut from two different papers from Sara's 2015 Christmas collection, and the tree only was trimmed from the darker shade. This panel was backed with Matt gold miri and added to the centre. I added some glitter, pearls and gems plus a ribbon to complete the card.

I hope I have inspired you to start early 😀

Christmas Wreath for the Inspirers

A commissioned card this time which fit my brief as an Inspirer for Crafter's Companion.

I was asked to make a photo framed card for Christmas and found the perfect die - The Timeless Wreath.

A simple stepper card worked perfectly.
I trimmed the photo to fit behind the aperture cut with Centura Pearl - Hint of Silver (currently on offer with a fabulous multibuy!) and backed with some papers from Sara's Signature range from last year.

A velvet ribbon was placed around the bottom with a bow, plus a generous scattering of gems to finish the card.

Still time to make some Christmas cards.
Thanks for taking a look.

Contemporary Christmas for the Inspirers.

It's nearly Christmas so I thought I'd better make some more cards - always leave it until the last minute, but these were quite quick to complete using Sara's fabulous Contemporary Christmas range.

They all use the 6x6" paper pad - I love these colours! The first two use the amazing scene edgeables plus stamps & sentiment die.

This one has the snowfall embossing folder too.

Flourishing Flakes embossing folder was combined with the sentiment die & Snowflakes of Joy die.

Stylish Tree is so versatile used here with part of the sentiment and one of the stamps.

And of course the lovely Decorative Holly dies and luxury foiled card!

There are still some items in stock but be quick as they are limited edition!

Have fun

p.s. don;t know what happened to my photographs here as the colours are a little strange - trust me they are crisp white with hues of blue and lilac!

A very JOFY Christmas!

Our Christmas crop was last weekend and these are the cards I made for the girls using
JOFY stamps by PaperArtsy which I love!

A mixture of this years stamps and some from previous releases - they all work so well together - plus dies & punches from my collection and coloured with Distress Pens & Glitter pens by Kaisercraft (Merly Impressions).

Hope they like them :)

Thelwell Frame card

Another project for Crafter's Companion Inspirers was to use the Thelwell CD.

I made this frame card adding the printable embellishments too.

I'm not usually a CD crafter, preferring die cutting and colouring etc., but this one is quite versatile with lots of fun images and printable elements.

Dreamy Destinations - Crafter's Companion Inspirers.

This is a project I made for the Inspirers, Crafter's Companion, using the Destinations CD

I used the Roccoco die to create a patterned edge either side of my card.
1.

Then reinforced the side panels with extra card.

Next I cut strips from the patterned papers.
8.

And added them to the panels.

These were matted onto Core'dinations card stock.

11.   Cut

The toppers were also matted then added to the centre panel with accents either side.

The design folds flat to post.

The CD has lots of fabulous designs.

Still loving JOFY stamps

These are a couple of cards I made a while back but have not shared as yet.
Jo designs the most amazing stamps and I just love working with them, these are from one of her latest releases for PaperArtsy.

Thanks for looking.

Origami Day!

Today is Origami day so I made a vase of flowers for The Inspirers!

The papers are from Sara's Birthday Party collection.

The base is an old coffee tin which I have covered with paper, plus a ribbon & bow (from Contemporary Christmas)

I recently made the Kusudama flowers for the Birthday Party launch so made a few more of these.

I then googled origami flowers and found a you tube tutorial by Jo Nakashima for Lillies.
I know a real one has more than 4 petals but.....
These were made in 2 sizes.

I also found a tutorial for an orchid so popped one of these in too.

Below you can see inside the Lily where I used Sheena's Perfect Partners for the stamen and also the leaves, plus the Anemone leaves.

They have all been wired and pushed into some oasis for stability and I added some green netting around the top to hide the base.

Thanks for taking a look

A Rosy Outlook - Sheena's Perfect Partners for the Inspirers.

My latest project for the Inspirers, Crafter's Companion, was to use Sheena's Perfect Partners.
|I chose A Rosy Outlook stamp and die set from the Country Cottage Collection and made the following card.

The rose is made from 4 layers of paper, die-cut, stamped and coloured with Spectrum Aqua (a mixture of colours) it was then shaped whilst damp to get the shape.

The same with the leaves, then a dusting of Spectrum Sparkle clear!

The sentiment was then stamped and added.

Gemini Deal on Hochanda

Wow! Did you catch the Gemini deal on Hochanda?
On top of the fabulous dies and embossing folders that come with the machine (best on the market in my opinion!) you also received a create-a-card die and embossing folders!

Here are some samples I made -

Happy 11th Birthday!
