Origami Day!

Today is Origami day so I made a vase of flowers for The Inspirers!

The papers are from Sara's Birthday Party collection.

The base is an old coffee tin which I have covered with paper, plus a ribbon & bow (from Contemporary Christmas)

I recently made the Kusudama flowers for the Birthday Party launch so made a few more of these.

I then googled origami flowers and found a you tube tutorial by Jo Nakashima for Lillies.
I know a real one has more than 4 petals but.....
These were made in 2 sizes.

I also found a tutorial for an orchid so popped one of these in too.

Below you can see inside the Lily where I used Sheena's Perfect Partners for the stamen and also the leaves, plus the Anemone leaves.

They have all been wired and pushed into some oasis for stability and I added some green netting around the top to hide the base.

Thanks for taking a look
