Green - Monday 8th June

Blue Sky Challenge - 6th June

I love the way the clouds are in this blue sky, taken in the park at the weekend.

Then I remembered these from the Maldives last November...

Mmmmmmm....

More Fathers Day...

These are from the new range, Dandylion and Daisy.

They are supposed to be die-cut but there is always a white edge around the pieces so I end up with my scissors anyway!

The background on this one was a "washed-out" image so I edged the circle that the decoupage was on the make it stand out more.

From the same sheet, this one did not have the circular backing so I mounted it onto the full colour sheet. I added glossy accents onto the paintpot and brush and also run an area on the door to represent wet paint.

The sheet finished just below the bear so I added the area cut away from the top, edged with ink, to form a border to add the writing to.

The stars were 3d'd onto the top. I think its the first time I've ever handwritten a message on a card.

This one was very good image to decoupage.

Glossy accents added to the the paste bucket and brush for a sheen.

A very productive day I think.

Thankfully Jess (my cat) is home again. They are not sure what caused his illness so I'll have to keep an eye on him for a few days. He is in the slideshow below as my Blue option.

Colour Challenge - Day 4 - A Rainbow of colours

Thanks Lynn for the inspiration for this one....

Fathers Day

I used a Forever Friends 6x6 paper pad to make these cards. I cut out and decoupaged the images then mounted them on 8x8 cards which seem to be my favourites at present.
The card above then had added flowers with circular centres and candy dots added.


I added a few candy dots to the edge to finish this one and glazed the headlamps and indicator light for definition.



I doodled with some stickles in the top corner of this one and added the circles down the right side.


This one was finished with a few jewells and a sparkly scalloped circle message.

Today

Well, no crafting today in the end.
Unfortunately my cat Jess was taken ill so had to be hospitalised which left us all upset.
Have to try harder tomorrow!

I'm going to try to take part in a daily colour challenge by Shimelle.

Todays option is to "spin the wheel" for colour choices, this is my spin.

Am off now to try this out...
