Belated Birthday greetings to my lovely Daughter....

On the 9th March my beautiful daughter turned 21.
We went to TGI's on the day with her friends Sam and Chloe.

Here they are....

I am late blogging this as its been a hectic 2 weeks with preparation etc but, last Sunday we had a family/friends gathering to celebrate.
I had asked Anita's sister Donna to make me some birthday cupcakes after seeing them on Anita's blog, see them here.

I asked Donna for pastel colours and here is the result:

Glittered of course, below on my new cake stand from Pampered Chef.

Here she is after blowing out the candles with some pink fizz.

You can see in the background some bunting which I made for her - will show that tomorrow.

Sarah's Birthday

My niece Sarah had her birthday last Saturday and this is the card I made for her.
I used an 6x6 CWC scalloped card and papers from my stash.
The image is from the House Mouse collection available at Joanna Sheen.

The image was coloured with promarkers and mounted onto the reverse side of the patterned paper.
I stamped the greeting and mounted with SU punches.
Stickles were added in dots around the card edge and around the message.

A close up of the image which, unfortunately, does not show the crystal stickles in the water.
Stickles and promarkers from Cardinal Colours.

Hope you had a lovely birthday Sarah xxxx

Happy Birthday to Claire's Mum.

Here is a card I made for Claire.
I used an 8x8 CWC card and made it into an easel.
The papers are from a DCWV floral stack.

I added a ribbon across the photo to disguise the photographers details and the created a spray of flowers to which I also added a bow of the same ribbon.

Candi in Silver added decoration and a butterfly cut with my Martha Stewart punch, doubled for dimension.

The letters were cut with Teardrop Cricut cartridge in silver shadowed with purple.

Pearls for the bodies of the butterflies and stickles sparkled the balloons and the word Mum.

Scrapology - March Challenge - D is for Dimension

For this months challenge I used BG Curio papers - Camelia, Ophelia and Cotton - plus chocolate bazzill.
I gutted the brown bazzill and cut the pink -Cotton - BG down, distressed the edges and tore sections out.
I used the Ophelia flowered paper and cut around the section of flowers I wanted to use.
Another sheet of flowers was used to cut and decoupage on top.
The photo was mounted onto the gutted centre of the bazzill and the title cut with the circut.

A close up of the decoupaged flowers which I added Glossy Accents and Cinnamon Stickles to.

Glossy Accents was used to highlight the darker base of the petals.

I used lace to edge a circle cut from the Camelia paper and Glossy Accents on the letters.

This was the sketch I worked from which was based on a Scraplift of Gabrielle P.
This is her original LO

And this is the sketch Lynn created for Scrapology

Good Luck Kerry

The lovely Kerry from work is now off to pastures new - sad to see her go :(

Here is the card I made for her.

I used a CWC 8x8 scalloped edged card and backing papers from my stash.
The Cat was cut with the Paisley Cricut cartridge in white as thats the colour of her cat.
The letters were cut with Ashlings Alphabet in green with a silver shadow, I then faux stitched around the edge for some dimension.

Sorry for the dark image but it was really late when I finished it.
